Doesn’t Matter
Snow was fluttering on that day. While staring at the snow that falls on Lessenar Magic Academy’s school building from the special class’ window,
“Waa, beautiful”
Liana, simply found this snow beautiful,
Jill, was worried about the what was about to happen after this,
and as for Krist, he felt that it was giving its blessing to himself.
“……”
And then, Asch, too, was so rarely staring at this snow.
“……and because of that……oops, there goes the chime huh. Today’s lesson will be until here”
Jasper, the teacher-in-charge, while making an expression that’s fully filled with accomplishment, places the textbook on the teacher’s table. The rookie teacher who’s very satisfied that he can conduct his lesson smoothly today, with so rarely none of Asch’s interruptions.
Aiming for the time when he leaves,
“Asch, after this, are you free?”
Krist, asks him cheerfully.
“……there’s no way there’s even a second of free time in life, right?”
“……”
Crackk Crack Crack Crack Crack……
Very quickly, Kristy cracked the first pen of the day.
When Asch stood from his seat and was about to leave the classroom,
“Demon Summoning……”
At Krist’s mutters, he stopped his feet.
“It’s impossible for you. I recommend that you give up”
“……fuu, there’s not a single thing, that I lose to you”
“You’re kidding, right? Just recently, we settled our differences regarding our magic capabilities, right? If memory serves me right, I have never once yielded the first place in academics. It goes without saying for our looks……ah, I ought to commend your skill as a comedian though”
“……”
Crackk Crack Crack Crack Crack……
Krist cracked and broke, the second pen of the day.
“Heyy! Again, saying mean things!”
The one who smacks Asch’s head from the side, is the Holy Mother beautiful young girl, Liana.
“I-, I’m not being mean, right? I’m only saying the objective truth”
“Geez! It’s because that’s all you say……haa. Sorry, Krist. From here on out, we have something on. Sorry”
“……we?”
“Whilst it’s against my wishes, I have to perform the act of celebrating Liana’s birthday. Good grief……my precious time ends up being wasted because of the incomprehensible custom of celebrating the day somebody is born. Don’t you think so too?”
“……”
Crackk Crack Crack Crack Crack……
The unrequited-love man who wasn’t even invited, cracked the third pen.
“Haa……hey! Asch=Dahl!”
Liana places her index finger on his force and glares at him.
“Wha-, what”
“People, on their precious day, eat delicious food, with their precious someone, and laugh together! Otherwise, people will end up forgetting how precious their precious someone is. The birthday is, a marvellous day, you know? Alright?”
“……I got it”
“Fufu……good. Then, I’ll be going ahead, so you quickly come along”
The elder-sister beautiful young girl, pat Asch’s head for a bit and went off.
“……”
Crackk Crack Crack Crack Crack……
In response to their flirting, the clown(pierrot) man cracked his fourth pen.
“Th-, that’s how it is, so I don’t have even a second of free time to spend wasting with you. Unlike you, I’m a busy person, so I’d like you to tell me beforehand when you have some business with me next time”
“You’re gonna regret it”
Krist, whispers to Asch’s ear softly, in a way that only he can hear it.
“……let me just give you an advice. It’s impossible for you. People have their strong suit and their weak point. Go and obediently do Light Element’s magic or something”
“Do-……do you know who you’re speaking to! I, am the man to succeed Hazem=Heim, you know!?”
His agitated voice, reverberates inside the classroom, and the few remaining students turn over here altogether.
“……kuku”
“What’s so funny!?”
“Succeed Hazen=Heim? I sure can’t understand it”
“Fuu……there’s no way you, who can only use Dark Magic, can understand huh”
“Kukuku……”
“Like I said……stop with that laughing!”
Crackk Crack Crack Crack Crack……
Simultaneously as he snapped the fifth pen, blood dripped from his palm.
“If you just want to use Holy Dark Magic, you can just say that. However, that’s not succeeding Hazen=Heim. As long as you don’t understand that, you can’t even set foot into that person’s shadow. Well, it’s something that doesn’t matter for me though”
Leaving those words behind, Asch, too, left the classroom.
Crackk Crack Crack Crack Crack……
Ku……kukukukuku……kukukukuku……
Along with that pen-cracking sound, Krist’s uncanny laughter reverberated in the classroom.
