Entrance
Lily leaves the dormitory and passes through the school gate surrounded with iron bars. Hogner Magic Academy owns a grassland, a large forest, a lake, and so forth behind the school building, and even the schoolyard in front boasts a spacious plot that’s over a kilometre around.
“Haa……haa……geez! Why is it so spacious”
She dashes in a long straight line and enters the school building while grumbling.
She climbs up the spiral stairs and bursts into the second-year special class’ classroom, at the innermost of the west wing. At the front are a gigantic whiteboard and a teacher’s lectern. In front of that are several wooden long tables lined up, and her classmates were already seated as well.
“Sorry! I am late”
Lily, who bows with all her strength upon entering the classroom.
“Hohoho. For you to be late, there has to be some kind of reason, right? Your seat is at the middle of the very front row”
Lioar, the Board Chairman, makes a gentle smile. At first glance, he’s a calm and amiable old man, but his pupils that sparkle colourfully like amber, his large eyes, they depict a brimming with curiosity temperament.
Lily strokes her chest in relief and sits in her seat.
“Ah, Cis is――”
“I know. That there is no student of this class who will skip out on lessons without any reason at least”
“Ye……yes!”
‘As I thought, he’s the best’, she mutters in her heart. If it’s Lioar-sensei……there’s no doubt that he’ll resolve Cis’ predicament for her as well――it was the moment that she’s convinced of that.
“In that case, all that’s left is to wait for the teacher-in-charge……”

She would very much like to hear where and how is he old and feeble.
“Please listen. We had spent our time at this Hogner Magic Academy with being taught by you as our goal. Everybody, respects you the most on the continent”

“And yet! For you to tell us to take another teacher’s lesson at this point; please do not say such an outrageous thing!
“Hoho……there is naught to worry. The person who will become you people’s teacher-in-charge this time is, an individual who is phenomenally competent. So much so that this old and feebled cannot compare”
“No way. It’s impossible that there exists a Magician in this world that a Magician such as yourself cannot compare, isn’t it!?”
She slams both hands aggressively on the table, but nevertheless, Lioar doesn’t change his harmonious expression.
At that moment, a refreshing knocking sound echoes in the classroom.

When Lily turned to that voice, a single young man entered.
A man who’s in a black tailcoat and a silk hat. His appearances seem quite young as well, but at the very least, she had not seen him in Hogner Magic Academy before. His jet-black eyes are cold and give off an ominous glint.
What left the biggest impression above all else was, his hair that was dyed entirely white.
Furthermore. An expressionless woman with a frighteningly beautiful face is beside him. Looking at how she’s wearing a maid outfit, she’s probably this man’s butler.
“Speak of the devil……huh. Welcome to Hogner Magic Academy, Ash＝Dahl-sensei”

When she yells angrily at him, the man opened those jet-black eyes of his widely and blinked in surprised.

Board Chairman Lioar interjected with a smile.

In Lily’s heart, her annoyance is intensifying.
“Who are you!?”

A narcissistic attitude she can tell just from conversing with him once. A snobby and sarcastic smile. Let alone be her teacher, he’s the kind of a man that she doesn’t even want as a friend, no, a man she even hesitates to be involved with.

The screams in Lily’s heart and the chills that surge throughout her body, know no end.

Had he not been the Board Chairman, she probably would have been grabbing his collars. It’s with that much intensity that she glared at Lioar.
But, he’s still making a charming smile.
“By the way, adorable missy, won’t you introduce yourself?”
Ignoring Lily’s grievance, Asch stares at the young girl curiously.
“I have no name to reveal to somebody like you! Return from here! Don’t ever come again!”
Asch shrugs his shoulders and tilts his head in response to Lily, who refuses right in his face.
Lioar, who couldn’t stand to watch the situation, stood up quietly.
“Hoho……her name is Lily＝Schwarz”
“Hou……that Schwarz huh”
Stared at with great interest, blood rushes to Lily’s head increasingly.
“I won’t acknowledge it. Not for you to become our teacher. Absolutely not for somebody like you to be Board Chairman Lioar’s replacement”
“It’s alright”

“Since you don’t have to come anymore”
