〜Renya Side〜
After singing in the karaoke for about 3 hours, we walked down the street towards the train station. Due to the consideration of Kazunari or Nakamatsu-san, or maybe the both of them, Mutsumi and I have been nonchalantly made to walk side by side. I’m happy, but it’s nerve-wracking, you know!
“Nevertheless, it was amazing huh”
“Wha-, what was?”
“Eh, those two. Especially Oohata-kun, he was remarkably better compared to when he was alone”
“That’s true”
It’s not like Kazunari’s singing was that good. He’s on the borderline of the national average since he doesn’t miss his notes by much either.
Yet his voice was different when he was singing a duet with Nakamatsu-san. Perhaps he got pulled along by Nakamtsu-san’s voice, his pitch was right on point, and I ended up clapping unconsciously after I finished hearing it.
“Nevertheless, as always, those two are not making any progress huh”
“Uーn, who knows. But it has only been 2 months since we last chatted after all, so it isn’t strange even if there are no changes, you know? Furthermore, it seems those two have had that relationship for more than 10 years after all”
“How frustratingg!”
It’s my hunch, but I think those two definitely like each other. Of course, as the opposite sex. But it looks like they themselves aren’t conscious of it……and yet they’re flirting normally before our eyes, so it gets annoying!

Perhaps because what I said isn’t wrong either, Mutsumi is also looking troubled. It goes for the both of us since I get what Mutsumi is saying as well though. I wonder what we have to do for it to tie into a happy ending for them.

“Yeah……won’t making them conscious of their romantic feelings do just fine? I suppose then onwards will depend on the persons themselves”

Perhaps she gets it as well, Mutsumi is laughing awkwardly. It’s because those guys really flirt with each other. Their actions go without saying, but their vibe is already different. We’ve been shown a ton since we’re often together; it might be a good idea to complain next time.
“Well, we can probably just confirm that at that time as well”
“I suppose you’re right”
“So, if we’re going to lend a hand, then it’ll turn into a conversation about that, but we can’t talk about such things outside after all”
“Besides, it’s better to do it separately huh……how about I call Yae-chan to my house?”
“Then I guess I’ll go to Kazunari’s house. That’s a good idea. But since we’re doing it anyway, it’d be nice to stay over”
There’ll be time if we stay over, and we can also leave it to the late-night tension in the worst-case scenario. Furthermore, I can get to eat Kazunari’s meal again.
“You’re saying to stay over because you can get to eat Oohata-kun’s meal, right”

I blush because Mutsumi, who saw through my thoughts, laughs. How did you know what I was thinking about!?

“Uguu……the-, then is staying over fine!?”
“I’m fine as well if my parents are fine with it”
“Then let’s do just that!”
It feels like I’ll be teased even more if it drags on any further, so I forcefully change the flow.
Perhaps she realises that, Mutsumi is still grinning though……aah, shitt.
“In any case, the keyword is『the feelings of the persons themselves come first』. The objective this time around is to confirm the two’s romantic feelings and make them conscious of it”
“Okayー. I’ll ask when I get back today”
Just like this, our plan began.
……rather, we didn’t run out of things to talk about thanks to Kazunari and Nakamatsu-san, and it ended without me being that nervous as well. That’s precisely why I’ll do my best so that I can provide those two with their blissful conclusion.
