After lunch, when Mutsumi and I returned from the toilet, Kazunari and Nakamatsu-san, who should’ve been waiting, weren’t there. I thought something had happened, but I saw the message that arrived at my smartphone and understood their goal.
“『I am off to see the pandas with Yae. Let’s assemble again in front of the entrance at four』, he says”
“The contents over this side are also about the same”
In other words, those two wanted to see the pandas and left us behind……not, their goal is probably to let Mutsumi and I be by ourselves. After all, the last sentence is

I think it’s quite a good excuse if I do say so myself. I make it so that it’s just those two who want to be by themselves, while brilliantly hiding my true thoughts that I prefer us to be by ourselves……by no means is it because I’m incompetent that I can’t say my true thoughts.
