Punch
“……You say you’re Caroline’s fiance?”
Perhaps it got him curious that I said that, he looks and compares Caro and me numerous times. Thereupon
“Gyahaha! This is interesting! Who would’ve thought, that such a gloomy, mask-wearing woman is able to get a fiance! Gyahahaha!”
Perhaps what I stated was that funny, Gullek splits his sides laughing. I can hear the sounds of teeth clenching, ‘Girii!’, behind…….
“Haa, haa, it’s too funny. And, the fiance of that gloomy wom……guhaa!”
“Hyaa!”
“What’s gloomy about a woman this beautiful?”
In a fit of overwhelming anger, I had punched and sent Gullek flying. The woman who’s beside Gullek had dropped to the ground and leaked herself from being subjected to my killing intent, but it doesn’t matter. I’ll take care of that fellow for now.
“Ouch. You bastard, you went and did it!”
Gullek also snaps at the fact that he was punched and heads towards me. He clads both his hands in magic power and punches at me.
“Oraa!”
Indeed, his movements are fast and I’ll probably be in a bad shape if I took his fists that are clad in magic power. However
“Wha! Shitt!”
they don’t land on me. It’s because although Gullek punches at me, I avert it with my hand or dodge it.
If he punches at me with his right hand, I avert it with my left hand; if he punches at me with a left hook, I crouch and dodge it, and they don’t land at all. In addition to that, he kicks and so forth at me as well, but none of them land.
“Haa, haa, fucking shit!”
“Aren’t your stamina too lacking. It’s the outcome of having slacked off all this time huh”
It hasn’t even been 10 minutes since it started and yet Gullek is already panting. I guess he hasn’t been doing any training or the likes at all. He’s been punching at me the whole time but, be that as it may, he’s panting from something of this degree.
Well, nevertheless, I guess he actually has talent since he’s as strong as those around say though. The outcome of depending on his talent and not training has simply come due now.
“Sh, shitt! Moving around constantly! Don’t just run away and get over here!”
In that case, I’ll accept the offer and have you let me attack. I probably can’t control myself though.
“In that case, I’m going”
I take a step forward and, I appear before Gullek. If it’s a distance of about 10 metres, I can cover it in a step. I guess Gullek was surprised by me, who suddenly appeared before his eyes, so he takes a step back, but I won’t let him run away.
I grab Gullek’s neck so that I don’t let him run away. And then, I punch him repeatedly.
I punch his abdomen with all my strength, and as he holds his abdomen in agony, I knee him in the face. I punch the face that was raised from that momentum over and over and over again. Gullek tries to run away, but he can’t run away because I’m grabbing his shirt.
“Guuu! Fucking, shittt!!! You, you bastardd, gahaa! Wai, sto, stop, guhyaa!”
It seems Gullek said something, but I couldn’t hear it. It also feels like the shape of his face is changing slightly but I don’t care.
I punch Gullek repeatedly and Gullek desperately tries to move away, but because he’d been moving backwards little by little, by the time he realised, he’d come until the wall.
Gullek’s legs tremble like a newborn fawn, his face is sloppy with blood, tears, and mucus, all kinds of fluids. He’s muttering something, but his front teeth are missing so I can’t hear it.
“This is the end”
Looking at me say that and resolutely raise my left hand overhead while grabbing his collar with my right hand, Gullek shakes his head with all his might, but I ignore such a thing.
It doesn’t matter whether it’s for Gurian’s request or whatever anymore. I can’t forgive this fellow who insulted such an adorable Caro.
Gullek is screaming while crying as I carry on to punch him. And then I
Zudon!
punch past the side of Gullek’s face and onto the wall. My arm had sunk into the wall. ……Oh damn, I opened up a hole in somebody’s house. I wonder if they’ll get mad at me?
It seems I had let go of Gullek’s collar before I know it, and Gullek, he leans his back on the wall and trailingly drops on the ground. And then something flows and leaks out. I look at his face and, it seems he’d fainted with a pitiful look.
I silently return to everybody’s side and embrace everybody in sequence, starting from Alexia. Fuu~, my enraged heart which left my body to anger calms down.
And when I finally embrace Caro
“Caro isn’t a gloomy woman. Don’t worry about it”
“……Un. Just being able to have Lei say that to me, I’m happy”
I have to properly tell her that it isn’t true. Since Caro was hurt by those words.
I embraced Caro the longest and moved away after I calmed down. Alexia is slightly discontented and Caro is slightly exalted but I don’t pay attention to it. Let sleeping dogs lie.
“Gurian-san, it does feel like I slightly overdid it, but I beat him to a pulp as promised though”
“Ah, aah. I didn’t think that it’d be this overwhelming. But, thank you. It’d be great if he changes a little with this though. We’ll have to do the rest with our strength somehow”
“Yes, dear”
Gurian-san and Melies-san who say and cuddle close together. I don’t understand why he’s that rebellious even though he has such good grandparents. ……I guess there are things that only he understands though.
“You don’t have to worry about the injuries. There are those who can use Water Magic amongst my soldiers as well. Is anybody there!”
Soldiers enter from outside when Gurian-san says that. I guess they could hear the noises of us rampaging. Quite a number of people enter. And then everybody saw Gullek, who had fainted by the wall, and was startled though.
“Bring them away at once. Get the woman outside and confine Gullek to his room after he’s treated. Even if he wakes up, do not let him outside no matter what!”
“Ha!”
And then, the soldiers who swiftly retrieve the woman and Gullek. The faces of the soldiers who saw Gullek, who has all kinds of fluids leaking sloppily from his face, were slightly twitching but I don’t pay any attention to it.
“My apologies for involving you in something troublesome this time around”
Gurian-san apologises to me as I’m looking at Gullek, who’s being brought away.
“No, you do not have to worry about it. I also lost my cool at that fellow’s statement after all”
“Aah, I’m glad that a man like you is Caro’s fiance. I’ll leave Caro in your hands hereafter as well”
“Yes, Cardinal Gurian”
“Kukuu, we’re, not of such relation anymore. You can address me normally”
“Understood. I will be in your care from now on as well, Gurian-san”
And thus, Gurian-san and I shook hands. It’s not a gripping contest where we put in our strength this time, it’s a natural handshake, as though he’s really giving us his blessings from the bottom of his heart.
……However, the story didn’t end with this.
