Great War Of The Demon God: Limit Breakthrough Full Activation
“With this, how does it feel?”
“……aah, it’s slightly difficult to move, but it sure is a sensation I haven’t had in a long time huh”
Before my eyes, Dorothea-san is opening and closing her recovered left hand and getting a feel of it.
Right now, we’re riding on Anima-san’s back and treating Dorothea-san’s arm. It took some time to heal it since it’s a wound from some time back, but with this, it’s fine.
Even during that time, the Ilnort’s soldiers were being killed one after another. Each and every one of the attacks of the monster Lilith created, the Thousand Eyed Tree, is quite massive.
Even the fortress that stood towering as a sturdy wall until it was summoned, has now been smashed into pieces.
The soldiers are attacking as well, but they only shave off a bit of the surface of the vine coiled in several layers. Furthermore, brand new vines end up growing, coiling around the damaged portion, and fixing it right away.
In contrast, that vine’s attack is a threat, and as I said previously, there are two of the vine bunch that are large enough to smash the fortress and countless vines of various sizes growing.
When impaled by those vines, the humans end up turning into wrinkled mummies like their nutrients got extracted. Looks like the Thousand Eyed Tree can go as far as to absorb the lifeforce of living creatures.
We’re fine because Anima-san helped us, but all of the soldiers will end up annihilated at this rate.
“Alright, it’ll probably be fine if it’s this much. Thanks, Kana”
As I’m looking at the sight of the collapsing soldiers, Dorothea-san gently pats my head. When I looked in Dorothea-san’s direction, Dorothea-san smiled at me.
“I’ll help as many humans as I can. That’s why, don’t make such a sad-looking face”
“Dorothea-san……”
“Anima. I’ll leave the things afterwards to you”

Dorothea-san, says something like that to Anima-san. I wonder what in the world is she going to do? When Mari and I are looking at Dorothea-san while are thinking of that

Dorothea-san activated something, and her entire body started shining in gold colour. What in the world did she do?
“Water Magic, Elixir Rain(Ekris Rain)”
Dorothea-san casts a Water Magic towards the sky. Immediately after, the weather became cloudy, and it started raining in the blink of an eye. When they were struck by that rain
“O-……oooh, the-, the wounds on my body healed!”
“Thi-, this fellow’s dried up body is returning to how it was originally!”
Aren’t the soldiers who suffered injuries healing one after another! On top of that
“GyaaaaAAAA!”
an agonising cry is audible from the Thousand Eyed Tree. Looking at it closely, there are ‘Pssst〜‘ sounds and smoke rising from the Thousand Eyed Tree. This rain heals the comrades and deals damage to the enemy?
Dorothea-san, she ends up jumping down from Anima-san’s back as it is. The Thousand Eyed Tree naturally targets Dorothea-san. A ton of vines stretch in an attempt to skewer Dorothea-san.
Dorothea-san, without showing any sign of dodging, picks up a sword that has fallen on the ground, presumably left behind by the soldiers. And then, when she swung that sword, the growing vines ended up turning into tiny pieces……eh?
I don’t have much talent and didn’t get far with swords and whatnot, but her swordplay was so amazing that even such me could tell by looking. Dorothea-san slices up the massive amount of vines that approaches her over and over again.
“Earth Magic, Ground Catastrophe”
Dorothea-san, activates a brand new Magic while mincing the vines that attack her. In that instant, even we, who are flying, can tell that the ground is shaking. And then, the ground that Thousand Eyed Tree is growing on ended up splitting significantly.
The Thousand Eyed Tree, which was rooted to the ground, naturally gets implicated by the fissures and starts tilting. It tries to extend its vines to the safe surfaces and endure it somehow, but they crumble one after another.
The Thousand Eyed Tree swung its biggest vine over at Dorothea-san, trying to crush Dorothea-san. Just when anybody would think, ‘watch out for that!’
“Space Magic, Severance”
Dorothea-san swings her arm at the gigantic vine. Immediately after, I wonder what happened; the gigantic vine ended up being lobbed off cleanly. The ground shook quite a bit when the rather weighty gigantic vine fell, but Dorothea-san ran without caring.
The Thousand Eyed Tree swings its gigantic vine on its other side down, but it gets lobbed off similarly. ……amazing. She has been trouncing the Thousand Eyed Tree since just now.
“But, why does she suddenly have that much power?”
Mari mutters a question that I was thinking of as well. After she activated something just now, when she was on Anima-san’s back, she came to overwhelm the Thousand Eyed Tree. Is it thanks to that something? Just as I thought of that
『That’s that fellow’s unique skill, Limit Breakthrough』
“Limit Breakthrough, is it?”
『Uh-huh. When she activates that, she’s able to raise the level of the Magic and skills she possesses up to Level 10 temporarily. The healing rain just now is because she made Water Magic Level 10. Her absurd swordplay, it’s because she made Swordsmanship Level 10. The one that split the ground is because she made Earth Magic Level 10. And the one that sliced the gigantic vines is because she made her Space Magic Level 10』
“Wha-, what an absurd skill. But, there’s no way she can use such a powerful skill without any repercussion, right?”
『Of course. As the price, she won’t ever be able to use them again once the effect of the Magic and skills she raised up to Level 10 runs out』
Wha-, what an absurd skill. Although she can become powerful temporarily, to think that she can’t use all of them anymore once this battle is over. It’s the epitome of a double-edged sword. However, Dorothea-san’s actions had surpassed my imagination.
『If that was an ordinary Limit Breakthrough, that is』
“……eh? What in the world does that mean?”
『What that fellow used is Limit Breakthrough Full Activation. It’s also something I heard from somebody who saw somebody who used it in the past, but a Limit Breakthrough Full Activation, not only breaks through the limit of Magic and skills, it breaks through the limit of the status as well』
Is that, why her Magic Power doesn’t run out even when she casts that many Level 10 Magic? Even though every single blow is absurd.
『Naturally, there is a price for acquiring that power. When it comes to Magic and skills, she becomes incapable of using them ever again after using them. If that takes place on her status, on her own body, what do you think will happen?』
She becomes incapable of using the Magic or skills ever again. If that takes place on the……don’t tell me! The moment I realised, I could tell that her face is turning pale.
『I think you have an idea, but she will probably no longer wake up ever again』

Mari raises a sorrowful voice beside me, but there’s also nothing we can do anymore. I mean, she has already activated her skill. There’s nothing we could do but watch.

What troublesome vines huh! They come welling up no matter how many of them I slice! I use the sword and Space Magic and slice the approaching vines. Space Magic Severance. It’s a technique that severs space itself. It’s quite convenient, but the Magic Power consumption sure isn’t a joke huh. But
“I finally arrived”
I reached all the way to the main body of this Thousand Eyed Tree. Before my eyes, Lilith, who’s only sticking her upper body out from the vines, was glaring at me with drowsy eyes.
“Doro-chan……if you use that technique……”
“Eeh, I probably won’t wake up ever again. But, if I can bring you down with me, then it’s more than enough”
“……yeah……but……the one who’ll die……is Doro-chan alone!”
Lilith says that and extends the vines over at me from every direction, surrounding me. I can hear the shouts of Kana and the company at the back. Bloody Anima. You talked about the skill huh.

“Lilith, here I come! Dark Magic Chaos End!”
I materialise a jet-black sphere before my eyes like the time with Lilith. And then, the jet-black sphere turns big in one go, and the vines get destroyed when they touch it.
“It’s over, Lilith”
In one go, that sphere swelled up, covered Lilith, the Thousand Eyed Tree, and me entirely, and erased everything.
