Sieg’s Perspective
“Why are you here? Shouldn’t you have gone with Lei and the others?”
I look at Light who came back from the door Lei and the others went out of. Light bows so politely it makes you think that he’s out of place here. And when he swings his arm, spears of light appear in midair and pour down on the Demon Soldiers.
“Eeh, I returned under my Master’s order. I will be having the privilege of supporting the two of you. Celestial Cloak”
Saying that, Light activates his Magic and makes his way into the Demon Soldiers. That Magic sure is amazing. Blocking all of the Demon Soldiers’ attacks, that cloak then goes on to penetrate the Demon Soldiers. And then Light arrived all the way by our side.
“But is it fine for you to not be by Lei’s side? Isn’t there Magic that he can’t use if you’re not around……”
“That will be fine. There are Hikarin and the others by Lei-sama’s side. Besides, there is that ability as well after all. Leaving that aside, let’s protect this place. I will protect the door, so please attack without holding back”
Saying that, he skewers the Demon Soldiers that come close to the door with his cloak. I shall rely on Light’s power without standing the ceremony if that’s the case.
I ready my spear again and start dashing towards the Demon Soldiers. I probably won’t be cornered like just now if I can attack without concerning myself with the door; since it’s alright even if I move away from the door. Demon Soldiers, ready yourselves!

Lei’s Perspective
“Lei, the Margrave and company will be fine. Those people are strong, and besides, Light went back as well, right? It’ll be fine”
Perhaps she could tell that I’m slightly concerned about how it’s going behind, Alexia consoles me in such a manner. That’s right. Sieg and company are not so weak that I need to worry for them. Light is there as well after all. I quietly nodded to Alexia, and Alexia looked and smiled at me as well.
It’s been about 20 minutes? since we made our way through that door, I pretty much have no idea since there’s no sense of time, but we’ve walked continuously for roughly that long.
After passing through that door, the monsters and Demon Soldiers stopped appearing. From time to time, traps activate, and spears or arrows rain down on us, but something of that extent won’t work on us. Shishou ends up blowing them all away with her greatsword. And then, while we were dealing with this and that
“Look, the next door came into sight. Are you ready?”
the next door came into sight. And then, we open the door and over there
“Welcome, intruders”
stood a Demon Race covered in jet-black armour. That’s
“You’re the one who’s protecting this place huh, Gradiel”
“That’s right, Sylphid. Sorry, but I’m not gonna let you get past this place. Burn everything to the ground, Demon King’s Sword Of Black Flame(Leviathan)”
When Gradiel activated his Magic, the greatsword he was holding in his right hand changed its appearance, turning into a greatsword clad in black flames. That’s the sword we saw back in the Empire.
“Lei, Alexia. I’ll hold the fort here, you two aim for that door on the other side”
As we were looking at Gradiel as such, Shishou said something like that to us while she readied her greatsword.
“But, Shishou, that fellow is strong. Shouldn’t we work together and defeat him!?”
“That’s right. If all of us worked together……”
“Are you two stupid. Our objective is not to defeat Gradiel; it’s to bring Lei all the way to where the Demon God is. Leave it to me here. What, I’ll defeat him right away and go after you guys”
Shishou says and smiles at us
“……got it. Shishou, we will be waiting”
“Aah, here we go then, blow everything away, Gale Empress(Boreas Empress)!”
When Shishou activates her Magic, a wind blows fiercely around her body. It’s such a strong wind that it’s hard to even get close to her. Shishou carries on to point her hand at Gradiel and releases a gust of wind. The rampaging gust of wind heads towards Gradiel, but Gradiel’s Demon King’s Sword Of Black Flame splits it all.
“Hey, now while there’s time!”
Shishou also clads her own greatsword in a gust of wind and slashes at Gradiel. Of course, Gradiel blocks with the Demon King’s Sword. The heat of the Demon King’s Sword’s flame, blows all the way to our side because of Shishou’s wind. What a heat. I very much, want to go and help Shishou out as it is, but
“……we’re going, Alexia”
“……eeh”
We start running towards the door. Of course, Gradiel, who noticed that, moves to stop us, but Shishou gets between us, cutting off Gradiel.
“You’re not getting past here!”
“Don’t get in the way, Sylphid!”
The sounds of swords clashing reverberate behind, but we head towards the door as it is. Please make sure to come, Shishou.

“They managed to get through huh”
“Humph. You say that, but you didn’t come at me seriously. What is on your mind?”
As I ready up so that I am ready whenever I’m slashed at, I ask Gradiel. He’d obviously held back. Back in the day, this room would’ve turned into a sea of flames if he was trying to stop those kids.
“It’s because I’d been told by Azel to let him through. The woman also tagged along while he was at it, but it doesn’t particularly matter. More importantly, shall we get started, Sylphid”
“Humph, I’ll put an end to everything from 300 years ago”
