Great War Of The Demon God: Demon Soldiers
“Azel. Are you protecting this place?”
Shishou asks with her greatsword ready. We ready our weapons without letting our guards down as well, but Azel stands there with a carefree expression even before this many people. I wonder if he has some kind of plan or something?
“No no, I am just here. The one who will be fighting you people is somebody else”
“What are you on about……what!?”
The moment I was about to ask Azel again, Magic Circles appeared on the ground in all four directions and started shining; jet-black Magic Circles. What in the world is going on!?
“Kukuku, this Shrine Where Demons Lay responds to Baron-sama’s Magic Power and is able to manifest various abilities. One of them being, the construction of Demon Soldiers. It is able to create Demon Soldiers that serve as Baron-sama’s soldiers”
What appeared with Azel’s words was, a human-sized something. It merely has the shape of a human; its entire body is ebony and muddy. What’s with that fellow?
“Go. Demon Soldier!”
The Demon Soldier responds to Azel’s voice, heading over towards us.
“ーーーー!”
“Don’t be making incomprehensible sounds!”
The Demon Soldier transforms its hands into a sharp sword and slashes over at us while making a weird and bizarre voice. I block with Galadolg, but this fellow, I thought that perhaps he’s just a small fry, but his single strike is heavier than I imagined.
“This Demon Soldier’s strength, it is equivalent to approximately a B Rank in terms of monsters. You will die if you let your guard down, you know?”
“Tch!”
I hit the enemy’s sword-shaped arm upwards with Galadolg and sweep its legs. Just as it lost its balance, I thrust at its throat consecutively.
However, they come pouring out from the Magic Circles one after another. Already nearly 100 have appeared on this site.
“These Demon Soldiers, their numbers will still continue to increase. And then, they will subsequently head outside the Shrine Where Demons Lay from this room. I wonder what will happen when that happens?”
If these Demon Soldiers go outside? If that happens, the people who are fighting outside will……like I will let you do something like that!
“Lightning Hea-……”
“Wait, Lei!”
As I was about to activate Lightning Heavenly Garment and push through, I was stopped by Sieg. Hikarin is currently resting, in the middle of recovering her Magic Power. She has gone around to being everybody’s support for now.
“Why, Chichiue!”
“You, should preserve your strength until the very last moment! You shouldn’t use it here!”
“But!”
“We’ll stop this fellows! In the meantime, you, the Headmaster, and Alexia-sama will move forward!”
Wha-! What are you saying! There’s no way Sieg and Marco alone can stop this many of them, right!
“Hurry up and go! If you don’t defeat the Demon God, we’ll all be done for in the end! We’ll stop them until then. Quickly go and defeat him!”
“Aah, Lei. If it’s you, you’ll be fine!”
Sieg and Marco. Even as the two of them are fighting, they look over at me and smile. When I look over at Shishou and Alexia, the two of them nod as well. Yeah. I can’t be putting their determination to waste.
“Alexia, Shishou, let’s proceed forward! Chichiue, Marco-aniue! Let’s quickly go back and have a toast!”
“”Lei’s treat!””
I smile awkwardly at the two’s words. Good grief. We proceed forward with Alexia, Shishou, and me. When we try to attack Azel while we’re at it, the underneath of Azel’s foot starts shining. That is
“Well then, I will be waiting ahead”
“Tch! ……Teleportation Magic Circle huh”
“Hey, we’re going ahead!”
I was urged by Shishou and proceeded forward. I proceed ahead without looking back. If it’s those two, they’ll be fine. After all, they’re my father and elder brother.

“ーーuu!”
Tch, bloody making disgusting noises. Marco and I are in front of the door, stopping the so-called Demon Soldiers that push closer, but each and every single one of them is considerably strong. They’re not impossible to defeat, but they’re pretty troublesome.
“Funraa! Chichiue, blunt attacks are not really effective against these fellows. They get blown away by my attacks as well, but they get up right away”
As I’m taking on the next Demon Soldier, Marco says something like that over to me. Blunt attacks are no good huh. In that case, there’s no choice but to stab them with the spearhead.
It seems Marco has also created something like thorns with Earth Magic at the front of his own gauntlets and finally wounded the Demon Soldiers.
“Still, their numbers really are a lot!”
There are close to 200 inside the room presently. Perhaps there’s a limit to how many can fit into a room, or perhaps their numbers can’t increase any more than this, it has stopped at this, but we defeat one and one appears from the Magic Circles.
Under normal circumstances, they’ll probably leave the room one after another and diminish, so they’ll appear from the Magic Circles accordingly. However, we’re currently stopping that somehow. Marco and I are both riddled with injuries though.
“ーーーー!!”
I crouch, dodge the Demon Soldier’s sword, and slash both its knees with the spearhead. Just as it lost its balance, I stabbed its face with my spear. The Demon Soldiers come over one after another, stepping over the Demon Soldier’s corpse. As I’m taking them on
“Chichiue, look at that!”
Marco raises his voice all of a sudden. Hearing that all too flustered voice, I looked in the direction Marco pointed, and over there was the sight of the Demon Soldiers amalgamating one after another. What’s that?
“ーーーーーーー!!!!!”
A bellow that goes as far as to reverberate throughout the room. The ground cracks and sends vibrations to the walls. That’s bad. Tens of the Demon Soldiers who are troublesome just as they are combined and became a gigantic soldier that’s about 3 meters, and there’s a sense of intimidation that’s incomparable to the Demon Soldiers when they’re small. This fellow……it’s close to S Rank in strength, you know!?
“ーーーー!”
The gigantic soldier swings its large arm down towards us. Marco and I dodge it by jumping away, but the ground bursts open. What a ridiculous single attack. It seems they can attack without any concern for the vicinity since their numbers increase one after another.
The gigantic soldier brandishes its arm over at me. Tch, it takes all I’ve got to dodge, and I can’t move into attack! On top of that, the other Demon Soldiers come attacking as well, unconcerned about being hit.
“Kuh!”
I catch a Demon Soldier’s sword that’s swung down with my spear. And then, the ones around gather over at me, squashing any place for me to escape to. To top it off is the sight of the gigantic soldier holding its arm up high. Tch. It’s planning to squash me along with the Demon Soldiers huh.
“Chichiue! Shitt, back offf!”
Marco tries to come to my side, but the Demon Soldiers get in his way. I try to tear the ones around me away as well, but they cling to me, and I can’t get away. And then
“ーーーーー!!”
its fist swings down. Tch, I’m not gonna be done in that easily. I ready my spear upwards and take my stance to catch it. What’s an arm or two!
A rain of light poured down as I thought that. A light so bright that I can’t open my eyes if I didn’t cover my eyes with my hand shines. And then, when I thought it settled down
“ーーーーーーー!!”
I could hear the agonising cries of the Demon Soldiers. The shadow of the fist that was swung down had also disappeared. What in the world happened? Just as I thought of that, that was a ray of light again. The gigantic soldier was penetrated by the ray of light that flew over and disappeared.
“Fuu, I somehow made it in time huh”
The one who then entered was, the Spirit of Light who should have gone out of the room together with Lei and company, Light.
