I kick the Shadow Wolves that come attacking away. These fellows aren’t that strong individually, but they come attacking in groups. Because of that, new Adventurers have been told to run away if they encounter Shadow Wolves. Well, it doesn’t matter to us though.
We’re currently climbing the Demon’s Land. The reason is to chase after the Demon God and company who are heading to the seal in the Demon’s Land.
The moment the Demon God and company appeared, a shrine ended up appearing in the Demon’s Land, and they ended up going in there. It seems it’s connected from the foot of the mountain all the way to the summit.
It appears that it’d come to react to the Demon God’s Magic Power or something. It seems not even Shishou knew about this, and she was rather surprised.
Although an unforeseen incident like that happened, our objective remains unchanged. We entered the shrine as well for the sake of that, but monsters came attacking at us, perhaps summoned from the Demon’s Land,.
The ones chasing after them are me, Shishou, Alexia, Sieg, and Marco. After that, there’s Hikarin, Maririn, and Light.
We’ve left Runwalker March in Aerith and Alene-sensei’s hands. Monsters are descending from the Demon’s Land, but they’ve gathered all the forces in Nanor and are dealing with them. Everybody is doing their best; we have to do our best as well.
“Humph! Looks like, this is the last of them huh”
“……looks like it. However, it sure is a rather huge shrine huh. To think that we didn’t notice it until now”
“It didn’t appear 300 years ago either after all. Not even I knew about it. Since they didn’t mention the things here, the Dragon Race probably don’t know either. Now then, let’s quickly proceed”
“Yes!”
As we made our way after that, a single room appeared. It’s spacious inside, but it was a dead-end, and the Magic Circle in the middle of the room had activated.
“We can’t proceed unless we get on this huh”
“Isn’t it obviously a trap?”
“But, we probably can’t proceed unless we get on this”
Sieg checks the Magic Circle, and Alexia asks anxiously. Indeed, it’s clearly suspicious that this spacious room only has this Magic Circle. However, just as Marco said, we can’t proceed unless we get on this.
“Let’s go. I’ll take the lead and go, so please follow behind”
“Wa-, wait up……”
Alexia shouts something at the back, but I stand onto the Magic Circle as it is. In that instant, the Magic Circle shined and transported me. I instantly activate my Eye of Clairvoyance, predicting several seconds ahead of me. Immediately after
“Gugyaa!”
High Goblins leaping over at me from all directions is visible with my premonition. I poured my Magic Power into Galadolg, and at the same time, I finished transporting and transported to the next room.
“Gugyaa!”
High Goblins came attacking from all around exactly as I predicted, but I mowed down with Galadolg, which I’ve poured Magic Power into and is discharging electricity. Perhaps they didn’t think that they’d actually be attacked instead, the High Goblins, they were all blown away without defending.
“Gugyagyagyaa!”
Apparently, there was a High Goblin King behind them, and it has gone crazy in anger seeing the High Goblins get blown away. I guess the number of High Goblins is about 200 based on the size of the room.
“Don’t get in the way!”
I skewer the High Goblins that come attacking at me. After handling the High Goblins that come attacking at me, the Magic Circle behind starts shining. Shishou and the others are being transported over one after another as well.
“Lei!”
The High Goblins were completely annihilated a few minutes after that. However, Alexia is currently still angry at me. The reason is, of course, because I got onto the Magic Circle without any discussion.
“But, there’s no way I can let Alexia take on that role, right? Besides, I have my Eye of Clairvoyance”
“Still, I’ll get worried if you go without saying anything, idiot!”
Alexia says and turns her face away.
“My bad, Alexia. I’m sorry for making you worry, okay?”
When I say that and pat Alexia’s head, Alexia squints her eyes comfortably. I shall pretend that I didn’t hear Alexia secretly saying「you’ve gotten a bit more used to girls huh」. There’s no such thing after all.
“Hey, stop flirting and quickly get moving. There’s still, a long way to go”
After patting Alexia’s head to pacify her, Shishou said something like that to us. It’s true that we’ve got to quickly proceed.
When we leave that room, there’s a barrage of monsters again. They bloody well up even after we defeat and defeat them.
Everybody is gradually looking exhausted as well. It’s inevitable since we’ve been fighting the whole time continuously since before coming here though. It’d be great if we could rest somewhere.
“Garuuaaa!”
“Tch, an Ogre King after coming all this way huh! This really is a troublesome place!”
Like Shishou said, an Ogre King was standing before our eyes, blocking the passageway. Ogre King is an A-Rank Monster that’s close to S-Rank. A fellow like that bloody showed up. Just as we were hoping to preserve our stamina even a little.
“Tch, here I’ll……”
“Lightning Heavenly Garment〜”
Just as I was about to say, ‘here I’ll take it on!’, a silly voice was audible from behind. And then, weapons of lightning were released towards the Ogre King.
The Ogre King repels it with the gigantic, gigantic axe it holds in its hands, but unable to catch up with the sheer number of approaching weapons, he ends up becoming like a porcupine.
When everybody, look in the direction of the source of that attack, over there was
“Fuffu〜n! I did it!”
the sight of Hikarin puffing her chest out proudly. What’s different from usual is, her body is surging lightning. Just like when I use Lightning Heavenly Garment.
“How, can Hikarin use that?”
I tried asking the first question that came to mind and
“……somehow?”
, she returned with an ambiguous answer. Are you seriously saying somehow, or so I thought, but it appears that Hikarin can use it because it’s a Magic we created together. Light told me. Hence, it seems Light can use it the same as well.
Because the Magic Power is half of their own Magic Power and half of the Magic Power in the atmosphere, the consumption is lesser than when I use it or something. That, makes me really envious.
After that, Hikarin peerlessly skewered the monsters that showed up one after another, and we arrived at the next room.
“This room has a different vibe than the others huh”
It appears that Shishou realised it as well. The fact that this room, has a different vibe than the rooms we went through thus far. It’s certainly inside of this room. Someone of the Seven Demon Generals.
“Well then……let’s go”
I resolved myself and opened the door, and over there was
“Welcome, to the Shrine Where Demons Lay”
the sight of Azel who bows politely.
