I slash at the Wyverns with the sword I reinforced with『The One Who Creates』. The place I’m currently at is Celia Kingdom. I came here for the sake of protecting the Water Dragon Ruler’s shrine that’s in this capital, but Celia Kingdom was already under attack.
The enemies are a few hundred Wyverns, and in addition to that, there are about 50 High-Grade Dragons. These are the Evil Dragons that were in the Empire’s imagery previously. And amongst them
“Aahaha〜, do it do it〜, my dependents〜!”
is a young girl who’s having fun observing on the Evil Dragon’s back. She’s dressed in an outfit called ‘goth loli’ that’s said to be passed down by the past Heroes, but the sense of pressure given out from the young girl is no joke.
This pressure that I can feel even though she is quite a distance away from me. If an ordinary person gets close, they’ll faint in the best case and probably end up dying in the worst. It’s to that extent.
As for the reinforcement, they came from Worvest Kingdom, and the Beast King himself is leading them. However, the current situation is one where our side is being overwhelmingly overpowered.
“GURUuA!”
“Tch! 『The Magic Shield That Repels Everything』!”
Because the Wyvern attacks me with its claw, I repel it with my shield, and perhaps it didn’t think that it’d actually be repelled, the Wyvern loses its balance, but I didn’t let that slip and lob its head off.
“Uu, uwaaaaa!”
“Do- do-, don’t come overr!”
The Celia soldiers are fighting hard on top of the fortress, but the difference in strength is all too much. The opponent is a Wyvern that’s a B Rank at the very least. After that are pretty much Evil Dragons that are A or S. They’re the Dragon species that just a single one is enough to rally an entire country to subjugate it; if we’re surrounded by this many…….
“GURUuAAAAAA!”
“Tch! Seii!”
Just as I got distracted by the surroundings, an Evil Dragon tried to crush me with its foreleg. I somehow repelled it with my shield, but the Dragon isn’t that weak that it’d be repelled with just that. It withstands it entirely with its hindlegs and strikes at me with its other leg.
I somehow swiftly avoid the foreleg that passes above my head and slice it off with my sword. Although the Evil Dragon roars in pain, its eyes are locked onto me.
And then, Magic Power gathers inside its mouth. Don’t tell me, it’s going to use Breath at this point-blank range!? By the time I thought that
“GAAAAA!”
a Dark Attribute Breath was released. I block it with my shield and repel the Breath with the effect that it’s enchanted with, but will my body be able to withstand it entirely?
Bit the bit, the Breath weakens. The moment I thought, ‘Did I make it?’
“GARAaAAA!”
Another Evil Dragon released its Breath over at me. Unable to withstand this entirely as one would expect, I got blown away. I was spared from a direct hit, but unable to avoid the shockwave of that, I end up being covered in injuries.
The same goes for the other places as well. Unable to withstand the Evil Dragons’ Breaths entirely, they’re collapsing one after another.
“Hmmmー? Over already〜? What a disappointmentt〜. You tried harder 300 years ago, you know?”
The Dark Dragon Ruler who looks at the sight of us being overpowered and bursts out laughing. And then, through the Dark Dragon Ruler’s order, the Evil Dragons gather Magic Power by their mouths. Don’t tell me they’re all going to……
“Disappear〜!”
Hundreds of Breaths were released altogether. There’s probably never been a moment, that we’re more prepared to die than we are now. Just when everybody thought that it was over,
“Ain’t happening”
“Of course”
A ton of spheres of light clad in lightning appear in the sky. And then
“”Flash Of Lightning(Grom Ray)””
all of the spheres collided with the Breaths, and ended up blowing them away. All we could do was look at that sight in awe. Wha-, what was that, just now?
“As I thought, you came huh〜”
Although the way the Dark Dragon Ruler talks feel draggy as before, the atmosphere takes a sharp turn. It felt as though she was playing around thus far, but the Dark Dragon Ruler’s eyes now are carrying a sense of seriousness.
And then, standing before our eyes were, a golden-haired man and a woman with silver hair so beautiful that they’re glistening.

Fuu, we made it in time somehow. We ended up being a little bit late after taking a detour.
“Fufu, it’s somewhat refreshing for the both of us to be together huh. We’ve never come up with a technique like this since we’re a race that’s the strongest even by our lone self huh”

The Dragon Race is to the extent that their existence itself is a threat after all. They’re powerful beings that even a single attack or a swing of an arm can go as far as to kill the opponent.
Well, it’s a combination technique that I’m doing with Hilde for the first time, but it doesn’t sit well with me that it’s that lad’s technique. I pull myself together and say while looking at Erase.
“Of course. We Dragon Race have got to take responsibility when it comes to you. Even if our Attributes are different”
“Eeh. But Levine, that’s not all, right? It’s also for the sake of Lei-kun and company, right?”
However, Hilde bloody said something like that to me over there. While smirking. Good grief. There’s no way that’s true, right. Maybe just a little, just a ve〜〜ry little, but it’s mainly only because I don’t want to leave this karma to Eclat-chan and company’s generation.

Vardy heals the humans with Water Magic over there. Those who are on the brink of death are probably saved with this.

Over here, the Dragons we called over, the ones humans call Ancient Dragons, put up a barrier, covering the country Vardy is in. The Evil Dragons’ Breaths won’t get through with this.
There’s also the chance of them turning into Evil Dragons if they’re touched by Erase, but I ain’t gonna let something like that happen.
“Vardy and Hilde, I’ll be counting the Evil Dragons around on you. I’ll kill Erase”
“Aahaha〜. Levine killing me〜? What a terrible joke〜. Even though if all of you didn’t work together 300 years ago, you couldn’t even seal me〜”
“Keh, now is the only time you’ll be able to laugh, Erase. Did you think that we didn’t do anything during the time you were sound asleep?”
