Great War Of The Demon God: Spirit Ruler Mode
“Fiー-chan, what is the Spirit Ruler Mode about?”
Looking at my current figure, Marin-sensei lets out a surprised and bewildered voice.
“As you can see, the Spirit Ruler and I have become one. I am able to borrow the Spirit Ruler’s power by becoming one!”
As for the abilities, the level of all the Magic I have increased by three; the respective status by three times; and I have become capable of recovering my Magic Power by absorbing the Magic Power in the atmosphere. In reality, I can cast Magic as long as the Magic Power in the atmosphere does not run out!
It’s just that, this state has its demerit as well. First, even though my Magic Power does not reduce, my stamina remains the same. It is higher than it usually is, but it gets expended nevertheless. Hence, if I overuse it, I will go into a condition similar to Magic Power Exhaustion. This is a point to take note of.
In addition to that, this is the number one problem; at the end of using this Spirit Ruler Mode, I will no longer be categorised as a human race.
The reason being that my body ended up joining with the spirit. Because of that, my state is a state of Half-Spirification, and I end up losing the concept of lifespan.
The growth of my body as well, it seems it will proceed until I am accustomed to the Spirification, but it seems it will end up stopping when I completely become a Half-Spirit. I had Farcy tell me everything. It seems there was someone amongst those who received the Spirit Ruler’s blessing who did the same thing in the past as well. She says that that will probably be the result.
But, I do not regret it. If, by doing this, Onii-sama is able to save this world, then I shall offer up my lifespan at least!
According to what I heard from Farcy, it seems one can give birth to children even after becoming a Half-Spirit, so I am satisfied with just that. I can just spend my life with my children, my grandchildren, my great-grandchildren.
In addition to that, it is said that those that live long amongst the long life-spanned Elves live thousands of years. It seems the same goes for the Dragon species as well. That is why I will not be lonely. I have Marin-sensei and Eclat as well after all!
Well, I will keep this under wraps until the war is over. I shall make it my own little secret.
I float in the sky while coursing Magic Power throughout my body. I have a feeling that the eyes around at gathering at me, but I will ignore them for now. As I thought, when it comes to being effective against the undead, it has got to be Fire Magic or Light Magic, right?
“Marin-sensei. Fire Magic and Light Magic, which is effective against the undead?”
“Eh? Er-, erm, any Fire Magic is effective, but for Light Magic, the damage won’t be any different from other Magic unless it’s a Magic with purification ability”
“I see, in the case”
I gather my Magic Power and release it all at once. What I activated was a Flame of Purgatory.
“Burn them to ashes, Inferno!”
When I activate my Magic, dark red flames flare up all over the place. This Magic is unable to be extinguished with ordinary water, and it is a Hellfire that will not disappear until it burns its target to ashes.
It consumes Magic Power during the time it is burning, making it a Magic that is hard to use, but it will work out somehow since the current me is constantly recovering.
I can hear the screams of the undead from all over the place. It is a very shuddering voice that makes me want to cover my ears, but I am going to bear with it.
After seeing my attack, the other soldiers similarly start casting their Magic as well. Pillars of fire are erected all over the place.
“Flame Burst!”
Marin-sensei also casts her Magic. Marin-sensei seems to be focusing on the bird-type undead. Because of that, she is being targeted by the bird-type undead, but Ferris-oneesama punches and blows the bird-type undead away.
She is wearing gauntlets, but the undead’s bodies are rotten and slimy. I have no idea, but I suppose it probably has a pulpy sensation. Ferris-oneesama grimaces whenever she punches the undead.
“GugyaaAAAA!”
An early appearance huh. Three Dragon Zombies flew over from within the large group. They are still on standby at the back, but even a single Zombie Dragon is a threat. The Wyvern previously is nothing in comparison.
However, although it was a tough fight back then, it is different now. I would very much like to be able to become capable of defeating it, even without borrowing Farcy’s power though.
“I will take on the Dragon Zombies. Appear, Hellfire Giant(Ifrit)!”
I activate a Level 9 Fire Magic, manifesting a gigantic flame in front of the outer wall. The size is one that easily surpasses the outer wall. The hot wind reaches even here. As one would expect, it would be troubling if it caused casualties on our side. I blow away the hot wind up into the sky with Wind Magic.
And then, by pouring even more Magic Power into it, the gigantic flame changed its shape, and then, it turned into a Giant that is about 5 meters.
The Dragon Zombies also identify the Hellfire Giant that suddenly appeared before their eyes as the enemy and launch their attack at it. The Hellfire Giant
“GoaaaAAA!”
, shouts and catches the Zombie Dragon. The other two crunch on the Hellfire Giant while it catches one, but they release immediately. I suppose that is only natural as well.
The Hellfire Giant itself is made up of fire. No matter how much more resistant to fire they are in comparison to the other undead, they cannot endure the Hellfire Giant’s heat.
In actuality, the Dragon Zombie that it is currently holding has started burning from its head. It is struggling, trying to get away somehow, but it is unable to get away because the Hellfire Giant is grabbing it firmly.
The Hellfire Giant ended up smashing such a Zombie Dragon onto the ground and stomping its head, crushing it……I didn’t wish for it to be so grotesque though. Well, I guess it is fine since it got defeated.
“Meteorite(Meteor)”
While the Hellfire Giant is stopping the Zombie Dragons, I take down the other undead as well. Floating in the sky, there are numerous rocks about the diameter of 2 meters. This is the Composite Magic of Fire and Earth that I used back with the Wyvern previously.
I drop the rocks that floated in the sky onto the undead all at once. They exploded the moment they landed, and the undead ended up being blown to smithereens as well.
I feel bad for the undeads-san, but you will not get past here!
