I run without paying attention to the surroundings. I had returned to Runwalker March before I knew it. I wonder when in the world did I use the Teleportation Circle? I suppose I had been so shaken, that I don’t remember something like that.
“Ah, Filia-sama. Welcome back. You sure are back early huh. How was the talk?”
As I am walking down the corridor in the house, Mirumi seems to have noticed me from the garden and runs over to me. Dry and Gumin-kun are tagging along behind her as always. It seems they were training in the garden.
“Good work, Mirumi. The talk with Onii-sama……”
“Heh you don’t have to particularly cling onto that kinda fellow, I’ll protect you! I’ll overtake that kinda fellow in no time!”

“Ha-, haha, I think it’s a little bit tough for Dry-kun, you know?”
Dry says something incomprehensible, and Mirumi sighs like she is taken aback. Gumin-kun is kind, so he conveys to Dry that it’s impossible in a roundabout way, but it probably won’t get through to the idiot Dry.
“Gumin! Don’t be givin’ up before doing it. I’m a guy who can do what needs to be done when it comes time. I’ll win Filia’s brother, and Filia, I’ll marry you!”
“”It’s impossible huh””
Oops, Mirumi and my heart ended up being one and the same. Ignoring Dry who says all kinds of things to me after that as well, I think.
I love Onii-sama. These feelings never once wavered until now.
The Onii-sama who had been gentle ever since the past. I loved the Onii-sama who gently pats my head, going, ‘it can’t be helpedd’, no matter what I do.
The Onii-sama who had been strong ever since the past. Rescuing us when push comes to shove. It was the same back during the war. Rescuing Chrona and me when we’re in danger.
The gentle, strong, cool, and my prided Onii-sama. I watched that Onii-sama ever since the past, and I loved him the whole time.
I think there is a slightly womanising side of him, but I remember Otou-sama said, ‘that’s also part of being a man’. He got scolded by Okaa-sama after that though.
The other fiancées of Onii-sama are also great people. Everybody is kind, beautiful, and strong; even if everybody got married to Onii-sama, I would not be jealous or whatnot. Instead, it is to the point that I had the feeling of wanting to enter amongst that.
……ah, I wonder if this is ‘love’? Not as a family, but as a single man. ……I still, don’t really understand huh. But, the fact that I want to be with Onii-sama remains unchanged.
If I convey these feelings, I wonder will Onii-sama recognise them?
I was extremely unwilling when I heard about the engagements from other people, but when I was asked, ‘What if it’s with Lei?’, by Okaa-sama half-jokingly, I did not feel that way if it was Onii-sama. As I thought, this is……

“This bell is……seems like they came again huh”
Mirumi hears the sound of the bell ringing in the territory and says. This bell, it rings when monsters overflow from the Demon’s Land.
There has really been a lot of it recently huh. According to what I heard from Okaa-sama, it seems it is not to the extent of the Great March, but nevertheless, monsters in terms of hundreds, seem to overflow from the Demon’s Land.
“This is a chance to get strongger! Now, let’s go!”
“Ah, Dry, wait up! Good grief, that idiot! What should we do, Filia-sama”
“It cannot be helped. Let’s go after that id……Dry. Otou-sama has currently gone to the other territories, Dorothea-san has tagged along with that, and Okaa-sama is not around either. Tigris-sama has also returned to the Royal Capital, and the only ones here are Alene-okaasama and Marco-oniisama. There might be some things that even we can help out with”

We quickly rush to the outer wall. All of the soldiers are congregating at the outer wall on the Demon Land’s side. When we make our way into that as well
“Wh-, why can’t I! I’ll definitely be useful; let me go!”
“Are you an idiot, Dry. You are Filia’s bodyguard, right! Why is someone like that coming out to the frontlines!”
“Tha-, that’s to show off my……”
Dry’s words did not continue from there. As for why; it was because he was punched on the top of his head by the Soldier-san. Dry who is in too much pain and crouches into a ball holding his head. I was giving a thumbs up in my heart.
Without giving out such a vibe onto the surface, I move closer to the Soldier-san.
“Sorry. My id……bodyguard gave you trouble”
“Filia-sama!? No, something like that is fine. This idiot is at fault. More importantly, Filia-sama, please evacuate into the mansion. This place will turn into a battlefield from now on!”
“Eeh. I know. I came wondering if there is anything I can help with that”
Farcy says she will go and take a look at the seal and is not around either currently, so I am unable to borrow the Spirit Ruler’s power, but if I put what I learned from Marin-san, Dorothea-san, and Farcy into practice, I should be able to help out as well.
“……let us ask Alene-sama”
And then, we tagged along behind the Soldier-san and climbed up the outer wall. On top of the outer wall, there were even more people running around than at the bottom, and Alene-okaasama was giving out orders at the centre of all that.
“Alene-okaasama!”
“Filia? Why, are you here!? Quickly evacuate into the mansion!”
“No, I will also help out as a member of House Runwalker!”
When I say with a serious look, Alene-okaasama, gave me her permission while saying, ‘Good grief’.
“I got it. But, run away immediately if it gets dangerous, alright? Mirumi and company are Filia’s bodyguards. Protect her properly. Look, they’re here!”
Alene-okaasama draws her sword and casts Magic Endowment on it. When we look in the Demon Land’s direction as well, those things from the Demon’s Land……I wonder if they are goblins? It is entirely green, but there are different colours mixed in here and there. The Soldier-san tells us that there are about 500 in total.
Furthermore, from the sky
“Magic Squad will target the Wyverns!”
Just as Alene-okaasama instructed, the Wyverns flew over. The Wyverns are also about 50 in total. Furthermore, there are colour-variant ones mixed in amongst them like the goblins.
Wyverns have been said to be pseudo-dragons, and they come under Low-Class Dragons. They are capable of biting and clawing, but their primary attacks are attacking with their tail and Fire Breath.
It is somewhat manageable if it is just that, but Wyverns can naturally fly. On top of that, it seems they have Magic Resistance that only Higher-Dragon species have, posing quite a threat if it’s against ordinary humans. It is several times better than the Empire’s High-Class Dragons previously though.
Those Wyverns arrive at the territory first. Everybody activates their Magic at Alene-okaasama’s command, but as expected, they are quick to respond. It just will not quite land.
“Fuunraah!”
Uwaa, Marco-oniisama punched the Wyvern’s head down. The Wyvern falls to the ground, but it shakes its head several times and takes off again.
Let’s cast my Magic as well and not just watch.
“Rain, Meteorite(Meteor)”
I activate a Composite Magic of Fire Magic and Earth Magic. The moment I activated it, boulders about the size of one meter appeared in the sky. A blazing hot flame is burning around the boulders. Those boulders rain down towards the Wyverns. There are about 20 in total. That is the limit of the current me.
“Gugyaaa!?”
The Wyverns that did not manage to avoid them completely, were penetrated somewhere on their body by the meteorites and fell to the ground. I only hit a few with that just now. When it comes to the colour-variants, they slapped it down with their tails.
On top of that, it seems the Wyverns found that I am a threat
they fly over, targeting for me. They then spit their Breath at me altogether. They are fireballs and not line-like Breaths like the Dragons’, but they are frighteningly powerful.
“Magician Squad, strengthen your defences! Far Range Squad will aim for the Wyverns that came close! Close Range Squad will go for the goblins!”
While Alene-okaasama is giving out her orders one after another, she is cutting down the Wyverns. It would be fine if this was just one or two, but if there are tens of them.
A single Wyvern by itself is a B Rank; that at this number. At this rate without Otou-sama and Dorothea-sama……no, I cannot lose hope! I fire the meteorites once again.
The Wyverns’ numbers are reducing whenever I do. The goblins too while I am at it. But, I just cannot hit the colour-variant Wyverns that are amongst them. They either dodge or slap all of them down with their tail.
“Gugyaayaa!”
I finally hit one and it fell, but the spot it fell was on top of the outer wall. The size of a Wyvern is about 5 meters from head to tail. It is more than capable of getting on top of the outer wall. Over there
“Alright! I’ll finish that fellow off!”
Dr……idiot started running towards the colour-variant Wyvern. Mirumi and Gumin raise their voices loudly, trying to stop him, but Dry doesn’t stop. And then
“Orah!”
He slams his sword on the Wyvern’s head. However, weakened it may be, a Wyvern is a Wyvern. Even if it is a low-class Dragon, it is still a Dragon. Impossible for such an ordinary sword to get through, Dry’s sword ended up snapping into halves.
Impossible for the Wyvern will keep quiet about it either, it glares at Dry who attacked it. Th-, this is bad! I tried to activate my Magic in a hurry, but I did not make it in time.
The Wyvern opens its mouth widely at Dry and……
“Shut it, lizard”
A bolt of lightning fell from the sky. Looking at it closely, it looks like a spear. A lightning spear fell from the sky and stabbed the Wyvern’s upper and lower jaw, sewing it shut. The head then ended up being sliced off in the next instant.
It happened in the blink of an eye. Dry falls onto his butt dumbfoundedly, and he has no response even when Mirumi and Gumin-kun speak to him.
And then, on top of the Wyvern’s head that was sliced off
“Lightning Emperor’s Armament(Grom Arms)”
stood the lightning-clad Onii-sama. The moment Onii-sama activated his Magic, all kinds of lightning weapons danced around Onii-sama, and they were released at the Wyverns.
Unable to even avoid the lightning weapons that approach, leaving a streak of trail that shines blueish-purple, the Wyverns were penetrated throughout their body.
Aah……this back view. It is cool no matter how many times I see it. This figure that gives me a peace of mind when I see it.
“Are you alright, Filia?”
My head is being pat gently going, ‘puff‘. When I raised my face, Okaa-sama was there.
“Okaa-sama. Yes, I am alright”
After that, all that is left is to watch. The other soldiers are also focusing their strength on rescuing the wounded, and Alene-okaasama is also giving her orders to the others while muttering, ‘I’m already, no match huh’. The monsters were completely annihilated about 10 minutes after that.
Since everything was over and Onii-sama also dispelled his Magic, I thought of going to where Onii-sama was, but Onii-sama heads towards a certain direction with a scary face.

Mirumi obediently moves away to the side. The one who was behind Mirumi was Dry. Dry is still hanging his head and facing downwards. Onii-sama grabs the collars of such Dry and sends him flying with a punch.
“There’s no need for a bodyguard who endangers the subject they’re protecting. Resign”
Dry who was punched flying by Onii-sama ended up running off as it is. I suppose he was watching the sight of him heading towards the Wyvern from somewhere. He is angry about that huh.
Mirumi and Gumin-kun are chasing after Dry who ran off. Let’s leave Dry’s matter to Mirumi and Gumin-kun.
“Onii-sama”
“Filia. Are you hurt?”
While saying that, Onii-sama pats my head with a smile. Wafuu〜, Onii-sama’s petting feels goodd〜.
“I am alright thanks to Onii-sama. More importantly, about what we talked about just now”
“Aah, about that……”
“Will you wait for me until I graduate from the academy?”
Onii-sama makes a surprised look at my words. I continue as it is.
“I love Onii-sama. But, I still do not really know whether this love is as a family, or as a man. But, I want to be with Onii-sama forever from now on as well. I want to be by your side forever. That’s why, will you wait for me until I am clear about my feelings?”
“……that is, Filia’s answer, right?”
“Yes! But, the fact that I love Onii-sama remains unchanged!”
I can say it clearly at this very moment; to all the other fiancées as well. I love Onii-sama!
