Negotiation?
“……fuu〜, my body is finally back”
I open and close my right hand and check the sensation. Today is the third day since I woke up from my slumber. Albeit unintentionally, because I’d ended up getting used to this blacking out as well, I’d also ended up getting used to getting my body’s sensation back to how it originally was.
Still, my right arm is moving without any out-of-place feeling at all. Back when I woke up as well, my right arm was moving all too normally, so much so that I’d forgotten that it was cut off.
There’s normally no other way to heal an arm that’s cut off but to connect and heal it with Water Magic using the arm that’s cut off, but my arm went back to how it was thanks to Kana’s title,『The One Who Heals』. According to Kana, she was saying that she used my cell and created it from scratch.
I remember her going ‘Kuuーn‘, and clinging to me when I rubbed her head as thanks. I was about to say, ‘Are you a dog or something!’, but I continued to rub her head as it is since Kana looked happy. Her tail would’ve probably been swinging so much that it’d make you wonder if it’s going to rip off if she had one.
What I was more surprised than that was my right eye. Kana didn’t heal this one here, but it became capable of seeing.
Both of my eyes are normally the same colour, but when I pour Magic Power into it, the right eye’s colour turns purple. I found it strange and took a look at my status and,

something like that was there. Who would’ve thought that she’d go that far for me. When I tried using it, wondering how it is, the inside of my head became a mess.
It’s because numerous futures that I shouldn’t be able to see under normal circumstances entered my head all at once. Even if it’s several seconds, there are multiple like, 5 seconds in the future, 10 seconds in the future, in the future they branch out to, they branch out further; an absurd amount of information entered my head. I couldn’t catch up with organizing my head and ended up getting sick and collapsing because of that.
That’s why, if I pour my Magic Power in and specify, ‘Look at the opponent’s actions a few seconds into the future’, I could somewhat suppress the amount of information. Even so, I can’t use it too much since my eye ends up hurting when I overuse it. It’ll be powerful if I can use it proficiently though.
For the time being, Alexia, Kana, and Chrona are the only ones that know I possess a Magic Eye. Since it’d be unnatural if I can suddenly see when I’d been wearing an eyepatch, unable to see, until now.
I’m having Kana collaborate with me, saying that she herself healed it. It’s because Alexia and Chrona are my fiances, so I thought there’s no need to hide it.
After that, the key I received from Goddess Astell was also inside my pocket. It’s shining divinely, so much so that I have qualms about looking at it directly. I immediately put it inside my Item Ring. It felt like that it’d have some kind of influence if I leave it out for too long after all.
For the time being, if it’s exactly as Goddess Astell said, she was saying that I’ll understand if I ask a Dragon Ruler. I guess I can only ask Levine-san or Hilde-san, or Anima-san, who I don’t know where at.
As I’m checking my body in that manner, there’s a knock on the door. The one who entered without waiting for my response was, of course someone who can do something like that, Alexia.
“Lei, are your preparations done?”
“Even if you say preparations, everything is inside the Item Ring”
Alexia responds, ‘true enough’, to me with a smile when I say that.
Today is the day we depart the Empire. Under normal circumstances, we ought to participate in the Emperor’s funeral and whatnot as well, but there’s also Demon Race’s issue, and now that they’ve declared war, there’s no telling when they’ll attack us. Hence, I personally want to quickly make contact with the countries that have the seals.
I’m going to give the current Emperor, Emperor Rozbell, a heads up from now on to talk about that. I have to talk about the Demon Race after that as well after all.
On the day I woke up, I talked about the seals as well as the fact that Takumi got possessed by the Demon God, which I heard from Goddess Astell, to Alexia and the others. Everybody was surprised, going, ‘You can actually talk to Goddess Astell’, but they somehow believed me.
I don’t know whether Emperor Rozbell will also believe me on that, but there’s no way I can not talk about it.
After that, because we’d made an appointment beforehand, we head to where Emperor Rozbell is. The place we head to is, of course, the audience room. It seems it was in tatters with corpses and blood, but Emperor Rozbell ordered and made them fix it right away. It seems it has now become identical to brand new.
And then, I walked alongside Alexia for a few minutes. We arrived at the audience room. When the soldiers see us, they open the door for us. We enter as always, and as I thought, the nobles have gathered on both sides as always.
I carry on walking all the way to the designated spot and stand there as it is.
“Lei?”
“You! Why are you not kneeling!”
At that attitude of mine, the new Prime Minister yells angrily over at me. But I ignore that. There will also be a topic amongst the matters that I’m going to talk about from now on that will pick a fight with the Empire. My impression will become the worst in any case. “……why are you not kneeling?”
Emperor Rozbell came into the room after that, but he sees me standing and speaks to me with a hint of anger.

When I say that, the nobles around go, ‘Uuu‘. During this time’s declaration of war, if I didn’t go out in front, the Empire would’ve probably been pretty much destroyed. The Seven Demon Generals retreating halfway through is also one of the reasons, but the dragons would’ve already attacked them if I wasn’t around after all.
“……sure. You can talk as it is. So what is your business?”
“Aah. I’m thinking of talking about what I heard from Goddess Astell”
All of them were surprised at my words. I carry on talking without caring about that. The fact that Kaitou got possessed by the Demon God. That fact that the Demon Race’s goals are the Demon God’s revival and to release the seals that are in other countries. The fact that the countries have to cooperate for the sake of that. I talked about that.
“……Goddess Astell’s message huh”
“Aah. For the sake of that, the only way is for the other countries to cooperate. Even if an entire country take them on, they probably can’t hold their own against them”
When I say that, Emperor Rozbell snorted.
“There is no such seal or whatnot in our country. The Demon Race will probably not target us either in that case. And yet, why do we have to cooperate”
At Emperor Rozbell’s words, the nobles around are also in agreement. These guys don’t know the scale of the matter. It’s a matter of the degree that Goddess Astell went out of the way to tell me, you know.
According to what I heard from Shishou, she said the continent would’ve lost if they didn’t cooperate 300 years ago as well. And yet these guys are only chasing the benefits before their eyes.
“Shut up”
I let out words filled with intimidation. The nobles’ legs ended up going soft and shutting up at that intimidation. Galgante places his hand on the sword hanging on his waist, but he’s sweating cold sweat. I’m not gonna let them laugh gloatingly anymore.
“I plan to return to the domain for once and send letters to the other countries. I’ll send one to the Empire at that time as well. Think about it carefully. I’m gonna say it once more. The Empire would’ve been gone if I didn’t save it”
I’m not too used to speaking condescendingly, but these guys won’t listen unless I go this far at least. I look at Emperor Rozbell, who nods quietly, and I carry on talking.
“Also, I’ll have you let me bring my fiancee, Luciana, her brother, Third Imperial Prince Clift, the Heroes Kasuragi Kana and Nikaidou Mari with me”
Emperor Rozbell wasn’t the only one who was surprised by those words; Mari-chan and the others, the Hero bunch, as well. Kana is making a face like it’s saying, ‘That’s a given!’.
“The other three Heroes can come as well if they want while I’m at it. I’ll remove the bangle as well”
“Wha-! You! The Heroes are the Empire’s slaves! How can you bring them away as you like!”
……he’s digging his own grave, that Emperor. The new Prime Minister is also making a face like he’s done messed up. He probably said what’s on his mind because he was too worked up.
“The Heroes are slaves, you say? Even though you people, the Empire, forcefully brought them over as you like……don’t fuck with me, got it?”
When I pinpoint and hit Emperor Rozbell, who was standing up angrily, with more intimidation than before, he falls back into the throne and starts shaking. And then he leaks all over the seat.
“I’ll go with you”
“Ryuuga!?”
It seems the Pugilist-kun will be coming. I summon Light and remove the bangle right away. It’s only natural for him to get used to it after doing it for the third time huh. It seems he has somebody he likes, and there’s her family as well, so he asks if it’s alright to bring them along, so I naturally allow it. I shall have Light be on the lookout as it is for any danger.
“……me too please”
After that, the model girl also said that to me, so I remove the bangle. The only one remaining is the Hero-kun though.
“……I’ll stay behind, but can I have you just remove the bangle for me?”
“Why are you staying behind?”
“I’m engaged with Katarina. I can’t leave her behind.”
the Hero-kun says. Well, I don’t mind if the person himself is alright with that though. I don’t know whether if it’ll be good for him though. I remove the Hero’s bangle as well. Luciana also brings her brother along like I’d conveyed to her beforehand.
“Well then, excuse me”
We bring everybody and leave the audience room. After that, we immediately get ready and pass through the Empire’s gate. Pugilist-kun’s fiancee’s family also showed up without any issue.
We make our way while making General Melia keep an eye out on the surroundings. From my prediction, the Imperial soldiers will probably chase after us from behind. I don’t know how many will come, but I’ll have them let me turn the tables around as a warning.
