Waking Up
……oh damn. My body is tremendously heavy. This is the recoil of overusing my Magic Power huh. I guess it’s gonna happen if I use a Level 10 Magic that I’m using for the first time consecutively.
My eyelids are heavy, and I have the urge to sleep, but I have to wake up here. I resolve myself and open my eyes, and over there was
“Suyaa〜”
the figure of Kana sleeping on top of me with a tremendously blissful look……nn? How did this happen? I don’t know the reason, but I can’t do anything like this, so I move, trying to wake Kana up but……both my arms won’t move for some reason.
I try taking a look to my right side, and Alexia, who’s grabbing my right arm, was sleeping over there. I look to the opposite side, and Chrona was sleeping over there. Why is everybody in my room?
I look outside for the time being since I don’t know what time it is now and, it seems like the sun only just started coming out.
However, for me, who woke up, this situation is quite harsh. Especially Kana, who’s sleeping on top of me for some reason. ……it’s soft here and there.
Perhaps she noticed me moving my body slightly; Chrona, who was sleeping on my left side, woke up. The sight of her rubbing her eyes in a daze is adorable. And when her eyes meet mine, her cat ears twitch and snap upright.
“Le, Lei-sama! Did you wake up!?”
“Aah, morning, Chrona”
Chrona grabs my hand happily when I greet her. I suppose Chrona has also gotten used to it since I lost my consciousness in the previous war as well.
Perhaps because I moved my body, Kana, who’s lying on top of me, slipped down to Alexia’s side and ended up falling from the bed as it is.
“Fungyaah!?”
“……”
“……”
“……nn? What is it? So nois……Lei! You’re awake!”
“Ah, aah, morning, Alexia. More importantly, now from the bed……muguuu!”
“Geez! Making me worry every single time! Lei, you idiott!”
“Aah! Th, that is unfair, Alexia-sama! Lei-sama! I was also tremendously worried!”
Seeing that I’m hugged by Alexia, who woke up, Chrona also hugged my arm, going, ‘I was worried as well!’. Woo! There’s something soft on Chrona as well……she sure seems well-developed for an eleven years-old……no, is this how it is?
Besides, it hurts, you know, Alexia. It’s been a while since I was clammed between breasts, but what hurts is going to hurt. It’s unnecessarily so because their shapes change along with my face’s shape, making it fit perfectly.
“Owww〜……I ended up falling even though I finally got to sleep on top of Nii-san……hey, what are you doing, Alexia-san! Even Chrona-chan!”
Over there, Kana, who fell from the bed just now, woke up. She then complains about the current situation on top of the bed. Alright, carry on and tear Alexia off, Kana. I’m happy about being hugged by Alexia as well, but I won’t be able to breathe at this rate!
“It’s unfair! I’m going to hug too!”
……eh? Kana says something incomprehensible, and the bed shakes. And then, a soft sensation is on top of me again. Chrona on my left arm. Alexia on my right arm and my face. I’m hugged tightly by Kana from the waist up and can’t move……my breathing is almost…….

“Here, say a〜n, Lei-sama!”
“Er, I can eat by mys……”
“Say a〜n!”
“……a〜n”
I thought of refusing, saying that it’s fine since I can eat by myself, but I end up going silent at Chrona’s overpowering spirit.
The only ones in the room currently are Chrona and me. Alexia says she’ll go and convey the fact that I woke up to General Melia and the others and left the room, and Kana went off to report to Mari-chan.
Thinking that I’m probably hungry, Chrona used the kitchen that comes with the room and made some simple dishes for me……come to really, really think about it, this is my first time, eating Chrona’s home cooking.
The dishes are porridge and pureed fruits for dessert so that it’s gentle to the guts of me, who just woke up. Chrona is going out of the way to scoop it with the spoon and feeding it to me.
It’s a bit embarrassing, but let’s have her feed me like this since Chrona is having fun doing it.
A short while after that, Alexia brought General Melia and the others and entered the room. Ely, Shizuku, Birdon told me that they were worried; Dargris was the only one looking and bloody smirking at me having Chrona feed me. I’ll beat you up afterwards.
Kana brought Mari-chan and Luciana and came in after that……I suppose Luciana already knows. Her complexion is horrible. She probably didn’t sleep since she even has dark circles under her eyes.
Everybody then sits around my bed and starts talking. It seems I was asleep for about a week. Well, it’s the same as always. When I try asking Alexia about what happened during that time, she makes a tremendously troubled face though; did something happen?
“Alexia?”
“Lei. Listen calmly, alright?”
Alexia says something like that to me. Did something really happen? For the time being, the conversation can’t proceed if I don’t hear it, so I silently nod.
“It was after the day that Demon Race attacked us…….His Majesty, the First Imperial Prince, the Prime Minister, and the other escort soldiers’ corpses were found in the audience room”
“Wha-!?”
What exactly is going on? Why are the Emperor and the others dead? I held the Seven Demon General and the dragons that came attacking back at the rampart, so they shouldn’t have entered the Imperial Capital. And yet why?
“And then, the culprit for that is the currently missing Kaitou Takumi”
Luciana twitches at Alexia’s words……it’s getting increasingly strange. Kaitou was indeed taken in by the Demon God, but he should be with the Hero’s group during the time of the attack. And yet why did Kaitou become the culprit?
“All of the Heroes said that as well, but the Second Imperial Prince, Crown Prince Rozbell won’t believe us”
Mari-chan answered my question.
“The Second Imperial Prince is alive?”
“Eeh. It appears that the S Rank Adventurer Galgante was by his side, so he was saved”
“……it was a set-up huh”
Alexia also answers ‘probably’ to my mumble. It’s clearly too forceful.
The Imperial Capital makes Kaitou the culprit, even though there are the Hero group’s testimonies. Furthermore, the Second Imperial Prince was the only male member of the Imperial Family who survived. Galgante, who happened to be by his side. It’s probably going to be here if we’re going to suspect anything, but there’s no evidence. We can’t say anything.
“What has become of the Empire currently?”
“The Second Imperial Prince has succeeded the Imperial Throne and is managing it. Galgante as the Commander-in-Chief. So nobody can say anything even if they find it strange”
“Is that so……well, there’s nothing we can do now. Since there’s no evidence. Leaving that aside, about hereafter……”
I talk to everybody about hereafter. The battle hereafter is not something that can work out with us working individually. We have to protect the seals that are spread out throughout the continent after all. We have to cooperate with the other countries as well for the sake of that.
Now then. What should I do. For the time being, I guess we’ll return to the domain for once. Everybody is probably worried as well. I guess I’ll try sending a letter signed with both Alexia and my name to the respective countries after that. My name seems to be famous according to Alexia after all, they’ll probably give it a read.
