The Ones Who Call Older Brother……
“Uwaa~! It has been a long time since I came to the Royal Capital!”
“Wawa! Filia-sama!? You will fall from the window if you stick your body out that much!”
Filia sees the Royal Capital for the first time in a while and frolics in the carriage; Mirumi desperately tries to hold that Filia back; Eclat yawns above my lap; Chrona looks at Filia and Mirumi and giggles beside me.
It has been three months since the war with Regalia ended. After I lost consciousness, the Regalia troops retreated. Nanor troops, and additionally, the countries, Worvest, Arcadia, Celia, Forest Falia invade them by pursuing behind.
At the stage where they occupied a third of Regalia, Emperor Regalia requested for a ceasefire. The Multi-Nation Alliance that responded to that stopped their invasion and ended the war.
The conversation on the subsequent compensation and so forth start right away, and for Nanor’s side, the Regalia cessing a third of what they occupied to them is probably huge. I was surprised that it was decided that Alexia will go as the magistrate of that place though.
I had lost consciousness for close to 2 weeks, so they’re all stories that I heard afterwards though. The reason I lost consciousness was of course because of Magic Power exhaustion. It didn’t happen recently, but it seems simultaneously activating Level 9 Magic took its toll as one would expect. Since I couldn’t move my body at all for the first couple of days.
I ended up worrying everybody quite a bit as well. It appears that Chrona had been nursing me the whole time after all.
And then the reason we’re currently at the Royal Capital is, that we were summoned by the King. Around the time we finished dealing with the postwar cleanup and stuff, a messenger from the Royal Palace came, and we were told to come to the Royal Capital. Apparently, they’re having a victory celebration ceremony at the Royal Capital.
Well, I guess it’s only natural huh. The war against Regalia, that was shrouded with uncertainty, turns out to be an overwhelming victory once it started.
The ones who came to the Royal Capital are Sieg and Elise, as the March’s representatives. As well as Filia and Chrona who says they want to go, and Mirumi as Filia’s escort.
Alexia and the others are riding in a different carriage. Over on that side is Alexia, Aerith, Ferris, and Caro. Shishou ended up returning first with Hilde-san; saying since it’s faster this way. It’s true though.
Alene-sensei and Gilbert are remaining at the territory. Marco and Marin-san are around as well, so it’ll probably be alright. It appears that Tigris will also remain at the March until things settles down. I transferred the slave ownership to Alene-sensei, so it’ll probably be alright.
While this and that are happening, we arrived at the Royal Capital. It’s already dusk; I suppose it’ll be tomorrow that we go to the Royal Palace. As I’m thinking of that
“That’s right, Lei. Introduce to us Lei’s fiance that remained at the Royal Capital at the mansion today. I want to meet and see what kind of a girl she is”
Sieg suddenly says something like that. Elise, who sits on the other side, also goes, ‘that’s a great idea!’, eagerly. I don’t mind……but will Priscilla be alright? Her face had turned ashen even when she was only going to meet Madam Eliza, if it comes to my actual parents…….
The carriage stops when it passes through the Royal Capital’s gate. I guess it’s telling me to alight here. When I alight the carriage
“I will tag along as well!”
and Chrona alighted. When I look at the carriage, Sieg and Elise are nodding as well. Immediately after
“I am also going to Onii-sama‘s house!”
even Filia alighted. Filia alighted, which naturally means Mirumi as well. I look at the carriage again, and Sieg and Elise are nodding while smiling awkwardly. I also smile awkwardly at that. Well, I guess it’s fine.
“Well then, Chichiue, Hahaue. I will head over afterwards”
“Aah, we’ll be waiting”
“I’m looking forward to it”
Saying that, Sieg and Elise drive off in the carriage. I guess I’ll also go to Alexia and the others. When I go to Alexia and the others, everybody asks me what happened.
I tell them we’ll be returning home for once and head to the mansion after fetching Helen and the others. Everybody agreed with it as well, so we also board the carriage that Alexia and the others are on.
“Onii-sama‘s house, I am looking forward to it since it is my first time going!”
“Yes! I wonder what kind of a place it is!”
Filia and Chrona say such things excitedly, but it’s not that big of a deal, you know? It’s pretty much an ordinary detached house……that is slightly larger.
However, at this time, I didn’t think that something like that would happen.
After shaking in the carriage for about 20 minutes, my house finally came into sight. At the garden outside, a black furball is running around; I guess that’s Krondine. When the carriage proceeds slightly, Mei-chan, who’s playing together, also comes into sight. It looks like Roy is also with them.
Both of them are playing with Krondine, but upon realising that a carriage stopped in front of the house, she carries Chrodine and approaches. And when I alight, Mei-chan’s face brightens up, and she runs over.
“Onii-chan!”
And then, she hugs me; releasing Krondine that she was carrying. Krondine landed beautifully, but it looks over and growls at me. ……somehow, sorry.
“Lei-kun!”
“Lei-san!”
Helen and the others also come from the house. Looks like Roy went and called them. Both of them run over as well, but faster than them
“Onii!”
Haku hugged me like Mei-chan; both of them are pressing and rubbing their head on my chest. Helen and the others are looking at such two of them and smiling warmly at the back.
I too pat both of their heads, and right as I was about to say I’m home
“Onii-sama!”
a voice calls me from behind. I turn around because it was a voice that sounded slightly angry, and Filia puffs up her cheeks and approaches me. Wha, what’s wrong?
“Onii-sama! What is going on with these two people calling Onii-sama older brother!? Only Krissha and I are allowed to call Onii-sama older brother!”
Filia said angrily.
