Magic Circle
“Dáinsleif!”
I swing down the Magic Sword, that I made by pouring in my Magic Power, at the Imperial Prince under my eyes, that became a monster. I swung down right as he’s slightly flinching from eating Lo’s lightning, but the sensation that came back to my hand was the sensation of it being repelled.
“This fellow, he’s tough……tsk!”
“”You irritating flies!“”
The Imperial Prince, who noticed us around his head, swings his hand around blindly. It’s no big deal if this was an ordinary hand, but it’s a hand so big that it can easily cover us, humans, entirely. We’ll be taken out in an instant if we’re struck by this.
I’m glad I entrusted the seizing of the Empire to Mylene and the others and didn’t bring them along. It’s dangerous even if the Ursa Major is around.
I create footholds in the sky with Dark Sorcery and move. And then, I create and fire numerous black spears at him but……he’s not wounded at all. He really is tough.
“Ahahaha! To be able to fight with someone like this, as expected of Sir!”
Relcend, the Black Dragon that passed by the side of me, who’s avoiding the opponent’s attacks, charged at the Imperial Prince while laughing. Avoiding the fist that the Imperial Prince is swinging around, Relcend slams him with her tail.
Although the Imperial Prince throws his head back slightly, he immediately glares at Relcend and commences his attack on her. While the Imperial Prince is focusing on Relcend
“Get the survivors to fall back! As for the wounded……no, all troops fall back!”
Liscia, who’s riding on Lo’s back, is giving out orders to the bewildered soldiers. Nero and Elfion are givens; Elize, Fia, Tierra, and Mars seem to be safe as well.
Amongst the troops were also the figures of Cecila and Cel, who are giving out orders like Liscia. Those guys are safe as well huh.
“”Don’t get in the wayyyy!!!“”
The Imperial Prince shouts after slightly checking out the surroundings. Immediately after, small spots showed up on his back, and from there, small monsters appeared. Although I call them small, they’re about the size of a child. Tens of such things appeared.
Those winged things take flight and head towards us. These guys are irritating. I manifest numerous shortswords in the sky and fire them at the newly born monsters. It looks like they’re not as tough as the Imperial Prince; one after another, the shortswords pierce them.
However, they’re being born from the Imperial Prince’s back one after another. He really is a pain, this fellow. Relcend too ended up moving away and didn’t get close to him because of the monsters that are being born one after another. We can’t get close to him either.
“Tsk, you tiny irritating flies! I’ll blow you away all together!”
And then, perhaps annoyed by that, Relcend’s Magic Power blows violently and gather towards the horn on her forehead. That thing that she fired when we escaped from the Empire huh!
“Liscia, get everybody to fall back!”
Everybody heard what I say and got away from the Imperial Prince. And then, simultaneously, Relcend’s black-coloured Breath was released. I run next to that Breath while making footholds.
Liscia was surprised to see my figure surprised and she yelled, but I ignored her and advanced forward. Perhaps the Imperial Prince too perceived this Breath as dangerous, he made the monsters he gave birth into shields, but they were blasted away one after another.
Slipping through the hole that’s there after she blasted them away, I approached the Imperial Prince. In front of my eyes was the face of the Imperial Prince who still hasn’t notice me. I take aim at that forehead of his and swing down my Magic Sword that I filled with Magic Power.
Gann, it was repelled once, but I swing down again. After swinging down numerous times, albeit shallow, he’s finally wounded, but I was naturally also discovered and surrounded by monsters. It’s irritating, but I can’t be leaving this place now. Relcend’s Breath has vanished as well after all.
“”Disappearrrr!“”
Like he’s getting rid of flies, the Imperial Prince tries to swat me away along with the monsters he gave birth to. I get on the Imperial Prince’s back and run while swinging my Magic Sword.
The monsters are chasing after me, but I release my shortswords and prevent them from getting close. I’m bad at things like these, but I’m glad I learned them from Mylene.
Perhaps to help such me, various kinds of magic rain down and shoot down the monsters one after another. This is, Elfion huh. His magic hit the monsters like his magic is attracted to them. It’s gotten slightly easier for me with this.
“How about, this! Haa!”
Thanks to Elfion and the others defeating the monsters for me, I swiftly pour Magic Power into the wounds, the magic circle, that were completed. My Magic Power flows into the wounds and activates my Sorcery.
“Rain down, Eclipse Sol”
It’s a Sorcery that’s even more enormous and fiendish than the one I usually use. Eclipse Sol swallows half the body of the gigantified Imperial Prince and then throw him into the ground. He tries to move somehow, but the Magic Power that extends from Eclipse Sol binds the Imperial Prince and renders him immobile.
It’s a magic circle that I had Mylene teach me. It seems it’s quite powerful if you draw a magic circle and activate magic, but its weakness is that it grows bigger proportionately to its strength.
Because of that, it seems it’s used for rituals and such, but rarely ever used in a fight like this. Even if it’s used, it’s on standby at the back for a gargantuan attack.
I forcibly drew that magic circle on the Imperial Prince’s back and activated it. It looks like it’s going slightly out of control because I did it forcibly, but I can bring it under control it if it’s this much.
Eclipse Sol rapidly absorbs the Imperial Prince’s Magic Power. At the same time, it’s shaving off the Imperial Prince’s body. I can just leave him here like this, but it looks like it’s going to take some time, so I pour in even more Magic Power.
In one fell swoop, the powered-up Eclipse Sol absorbed the Imperial Prince’s Magic Power. At the same time, the Imperial Prince’s body as well. It took a considerable bit of my Magic Power. I’m one with quite a bit of Magic Power despite looking like this, but almost half of my Magic Power was taken away.
But, thanks to that, all that remained was the Eclipse Sol that absorbed the Imperial Prince. What should I do with this……alright, let’s return it to the Holy Kingdom. It’s their fault that it ended up like this after all.
I can tell that shitty Goddess’ presence painfully well. You guys can take care of the rest. I guess I’ll unify the Empire in the meantime.
