Dark Sorcerer vs Angel
“Here I come!”
Along with his voice, Melkar readies his shining sword, flutters his six wings, and closes in on me. He swings down the sword he held overhead at me diagonally.
Due to the power,『Absolute Sword』, that’s endowed on his sword, I’m unable to defend against it with the things that I created through Dark Sorcery. Because of that, I naturally devote myself to dodging.
I launch the shortswords that I manifested in the vicinity while dodging, but they’re all cut down by the ability-endowed sword. His reaction is better than I had thought.
On top of that, there’s the magic the Angels in the vicinity cast at me. The shortswords have currently turned into shields and defending against it, but they’re unbearably annoying. Even if they’re not a significant threat to me, them gathering around me like buzzing flies is an eyesore.

Melkar’s sword ended up grazing me when I was slightly distracted by the Angels that were flying around me. It cut my clothes shallowly, but I didn’t even feel the cut.

Melkar, who brandishes his sword, says something like that to me as I’m dodging while thinking about what I should do. Well, although I won’t deny that I’m just running away, it pisses me off when he says it to me.

I launch the shortswords once again. Melkar thoroughly cuts down the shortswords I launched. I gradually add to those shortswords that I launch.

However, that’s all there is to it. It may be an ability that can cut whatever it touches without fail, but be that as it may, it’s meaningless if he can’t get close to me.
It’d be an entirely different story if it were an occupation like the Sword Saint and such that complements swordsmanship significantly, but as far as I can see, Melkar doesn’t seem to be so.

I launch the shortswords, that I increased the number of even more, simultaneously. Melkar swings his sword, trying to defend against it somehow, but he’s unable to handle all of them with his skills and was stabbed by the shortswords one after another.
His scream is audible with every stab, but right when he’s stabbed by about 100 shortswords, his screams stopped being audible, and he dropped to the ground.
“You guys too”
I launch the shortswords at the other Angels as well at the same time as that. There’s no way ordinary Angels can withstand it entirely when even Melkar, who possessed God’s Power and who led these Angels couldn’t withstand it entirely; and one after another, they die and fall to the ground.
……looking back at it, it’s underwhelming. I was initially quite cautious when I heard that it could cut whatever it touched, but it’s utterly meaningless if the opponent is of that level.
Well, I’m glad I got to fight him here. I’m able to come up with a countermeasure for it in the future thanks to such a weak Angel using it at a place like this. It’s way better than to have it be used on the occasion that we attack the Holy Kingdom.
